This coffee protein smoothie blends oat milk, tahini, dates and WAM Protein Iced Coffee into a creamy, caffeine-free drink with around 27 g of protein. It takes five minutes and is my favourite way to use Iced Coffee protein once the weather turns cold and grey.

Simply having this protein on ice doesn’t do it for me in autumn, so it’s time for a glow-up. The tahini adds creaminess, the dates bring caramel sweetness, and a dusting of cinnamon adds warmth – perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up.

Why WAM Iced Coffee works here

WAM Protein Iced Coffee has a real coffee flavour without the caffeine, so this smoothie works any time of day. It isn’t overly sweet, which leaves room for the dates and lets the nutty tahini shine through. It also dissolves smoothly in cold liquids.

FAQ

No, WAM Protein Iced Coffee is caffeine-free, so you can enjoy this smoothie in the afternoon or evening.

Can I make this smoothie without tahini?

Yes. Peanut or almond butter work as well, or leave it out for a lighter smoothie – it will be a little less creamy.

Can I use another plant milk?

Dr. Anna Falk- PhD Chemist & Founder

I'm a chemist and athlete who got tired of protein powders that taste like liquid candy and come with a side of diet culture. After 12 years in research and product development, I founded WAM to make what I couldn't find anywhere: vegan sports nutrition that's actually grounded in science. Every formula is enriched with Leucine for muscle synthesis and made without artificial sweeteners - because effective supplementation shouldn't require compromising on ingredients or flavour.

My goal? Products that support your strength and long-term health. No guilt trips, no gimmicks.
