protein cheesecake bowl vegan

Vegan Protein Cheesecake Bowl – creamy, refreshing & surprisingly high in protein

Yes, with tofu. No, you won’t taste it.
“Vegan protein cheesecake bowl” might not sound like dessert heaven at first – and if you were about to scroll away at the word tofu… stay with us. This bowl might just surprise you.

This simple, summery recipe is:

  • Creamy and citrusy like a no-bake cheesecake

  • Naturally high in plant-based protein

  • Made from just a few ingredients

  • Customisable with your favourite toppings

And don’t worry: we’re not claiming that every dessert has to include protein powder. (More on that below.)

Ingredients (serves 2–3):

  • 300 g silken tofu

  • 100 g soy yoghurt

  • 30 g WAM Protein – Pure Vanilla

  • 1 tbsp agave syrup (or another sweetener of your choice)

  • Juice of 1 lime or lemon

Method:

  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor or with a hand blender until smooth.

  2. Pour the mixture into small bowls or glasses.

  3. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour – it firms up a little and tastes even better cold.

  4. Add your favourite toppings and enjoy.

Done!

Tofu in dessert?

We get it. Tofu in sweet recipes still feels unfamiliar. But silken tofu has a neutral taste and creamy texture, which makes it ideal for desserts – especially when combined with vanilla and citrus. Once chilled, the bowl becomes spoon-soft and surprisingly cheesecake-like.

Tips & Variations:

  • Want it firmer? Simply leave out the yoghurt or replace the silken tofu with firm tofu.

  • Not a tofu fan? You can use skyr or quark instead (leave out the yoghurt in that case). The bowl won’t be vegan anymore, but it will still be high in protein.

  • Toppings: berries, mango, crumbled biscuits, coconut flakes, granola, nut butter… whatever you fancy.

What makes this recipe special?

Besides the surprising flavour, this vegan protein cheesecake bowl is:

  • Ready in under 10 minutes

  • Made with simple ingredients

  • High in plant-based protein

  • Ideal as a snack, dessert, or breakfast

  • Free from artificial sweeteners and additives

And most importantly:

You don’t have to make your cheesecake with protein powder.

Just because we’re a protein brand doesn’t mean we believe every meal or snack has to be high in protein. It’s perfectly okay to just eat cake – no guilt, no tracking, no substitutes.

This bowl is simply a creative, delicious way to sneak in some extra protein – if that fits into your routine right now.

I'm a chemist and athlete who got tired of protein powders that taste like liquid candy and come with a side of diet culture. After 12 years in research and product development, I founded WAM to make what I couldn't find anywhere: vegan sports nutrition that's actually grounded in science. Every formula is enriched with Leucine for muscle synthesis and made without artificial sweeteners - because effective supplementation shouldn't require compromising on ingredients or flavour.

My goal? Products that support your strength and long-term health. No guilt trips, no gimmicks.
