Vanilla Lemon Protein Balls – fresh & energising

Whether at the office, after training, or simply when hunger strikes between meals: these little balls give you a fresh citrusy kick combined with the creamy smoothness of vanilla.

Why Protein Balls?

Protein balls are a simple way to combine nutrients and energy in a handy format. They’re usually made with a base of oats or nuts, a scoop of plant-based protein powder, and a binding or sweetening ingredient such as agave or dates. The result: a satisfying snack that supports you and keeps you going for longer.

Our version brings fruity freshness with lemon and berries, while WAM Pure Vanilla Protein adds that extra hit of protein.

These Lemon Vanilla Protein Balls are:

  • Fresh, citrusy and gently sweet

Ingredients (makes around 7 balls)

  • 25 g oat flour (or blend oats finely)

  • 25 g almond flour

  • 30 g WAM Protein – Pure Vanilla

  • 10 g coconut oil

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 20 g agave syrup

  • A few dried berries (crumbled or chopped)

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until a sticky dough forms.

  2. Shape into small balls with your hands.

  3. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.

  4. Enjoy straight from the fridge or take with you as a snack on the go!

Tips & Variations

  • Other fruit: Prefer it sweeter? Try orange juice instead of lemon.

  • Extra crunch: Roll the finished balls in desiccated coconut or chopped nuts.

  • Meal prep: Make a double batch – they keep in the fridge for 3–4 days without a problem.
