Banana Bread Protein Bites – quick, tasty & plant-based

Ingredients for 12 protein bites:

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 100 g unsweetened soy yoghurt

  • 50 g WAM Protein Banana Bread

  • 100 g oats

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • Optional: sweetener of choice, finely chopped dark chocolate, walnuts

Method:

  1. Mash the banana with a fork.

  2. Add soy yoghurt, WAM Protein, oats and cinnamon. Mix well until a sticky dough forms.

  3. Form 12 small balls from the mixture.

  4. Optional: Lightly dip each ball in water and then roll in chocolate and walnuts – this helps the coating stick better.

  5. Chill the protein bites in the fridge for 1–2 hours. Done!

Nutritional values per 2 bites (without optional add-ins):

  • Protein: approx. 10 g

  • Fibre: approx. 3 g

Values may vary slightly depending on the extras you add – but even the base recipe delivers a solid portion of protein and satisfying fibre.

Tips & Variations:

  • If you prefer it sweeter, add a little date syrup, maple syrup or a calorie-free sweetener.

  • For a nut-free version, simply skip the walnuts or replace them with seeds (like sunflower seeds).

  • The bites store well in the fridge for a few days – so you’ll always have a protein-packed snack ready.
