Our favourite recipe for vegan protein pancakes – fluffy, plant-based, and completely egg-free!

Our pancakes with WAM Protein and plant-based milk are vegan and packed with protein, fibre, and vitamins – ideal for a healthy breakfast or as a tasty post-workout snack.
Ingredients for vegan protein pancakes:
- 120 g flour (you can also use oat flour or whole wheat flour)
- 30 g WAM Protein Banana Bread
- 1 ripe banana
- 200 ml plant-based milk (e.g., oat milk or almond milk)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Toppings of your choice (e.g., fresh berries, maple syrup, nut butter, or vegan chocolate chips)
Method:
- Mash the banana in a bowl with a fork until it becomes a smooth puree.
- Add the dry ingredients – flour, protein powder, and baking powder – and mix well.
- Slowly stir in the plant-based milk until you have a smooth batter. The batter should not be too runny.
- Heat a large pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with some vegan butter or oil if you like.
- Spoon a large dollop of batter into the pan, spread it out, and cook until small bubbles form on the surface.
- Flip the pancake and cook until golden brown on the other side.
- Repeat with the remaining batter, keeping the finished pancakes warm.
- Serve with your favourite toppings like maple syrup, fresh berries, or apple sauce.
