5-Ingredient Vanilla Coconut Bliss Balls (No-Bake & Vegan)

Let’s talk about snacks. Between work, social lives, and just trying to keep everything balanced, having something ready to grab from the fridge is a genuine lifesaver.

For a long time, diet culture has tried to convince us that snacking is a bad habit or a failure of willpower. We don't subscribe to that at WAM. We don’t categorise food as "good" or "bad," and we certainly don’t believe you need to "earn" a treat. Eating between meals is just a normal human requirement - it's simply feeding your body when it asks for energy.

These 5-Ingredient Vanilla Coconut Bliss Balls are here for exactly those moments. They are a delicious, satisfying, and incredibly easy option to keep on hand for whenever you fancy a bite.

If you want something substantial but can't face turning on the oven, this recipe is for you.

  • Customisable: Easy to tweak the sweetness or swap out the coating depending on what you have in the pantry.

Ingredients

  • 30g (approx. 2 tbsp) WAM Vegan Vanilla Protein: This provides a satisfying protein base and a smooth vanilla flavour.

  • 50g Shredded Coconut (Fine): For that classic, chewy texture. Keep a little extra to the side for rolling!

  • 30g Almond Flour: This acts as our binder, helping to bring the wet and dry ingredients together into a dough.

  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup or Agave: Because our protein powder is naturally balanced and not overly sweet, you get to control the sugar levels here. Add a drop more if you have a sweeter palate.

  • 6-7 tbsp Coconut Milk: To bring the mixture together and add a touch of creaminess.

Method

  1. Mix the base: Add all of your dry ingredients (the WAM protein, shredded coconut, and almond flour) to a mixing bowl. Pour in the maple syrup and coconut milk, and stir well.
  2. Bring it together: Keep mixing until everything sticks together nicely to form a dough-like consistency. If it feels a little too crumbly, add a tiny splash more coconut milk.
  3. Roll them out: Take small sections of the mixture and roll them into snack-sized balls between your palms. (Pro tip: If the mixture is sticking to your hands, lightly dampen your palms with water first!)
  4. The finishing touch: Scatter your leftover shredded coconut onto a plate and gently roll each ball until it has a nice, even coating. Pop them in a container and store them in the fridge.
