Tiramisu Chia Pudding (High Protein, Vegan & Decaf)

Tiramisu for breakfast? Yes, please.

Some mornings are about efficiency, and some are about sitting down with a full spread. But most mornings? We just want something that tastes incredible, requires zero effort when we wake up, and gets us out the door.

This recipe is the sweet spot between dessert and breakfast. It’s for anyone who loves the flavour of coffee and chocolate but doesn’t have the time (or energy) to bake.

It’s also the ultimate "lazy hack." You get that deep, rich coffee flavour without ever turning on a kettle or coffee machine. The WAM Protein Iced Coffee handles the flavour profile for you, blending rich coffee notes and protein into a breakfast that’s ready when you are.

We learn through trial and error so you don’t have to. Pro Tip: When you’re choosing your jar or container, pick one that is slightly bigger than you think you need. In our recipe reel, we filled the glass to the brim, which made adding toppings… adventurous. Use a jar with extra headspace so you can pile on the yoghurt and cocoa in the morning without spilling it all over your kitchen counter.

Ingredients

The Base:

  • 240ml Soy Milk: We love soy for its creaminess and natural protein content, but oat, almond, or pea milk work just as well.

  • 30g WAM Protein Iced Coffee: This provides the rich coffee taste and protein base. Note: Unlike other brands, we purposely don't make our protein super sweet. This avoids that artificial aftertaste and lets you control the sugar levels yourself.

  • 3 tbsp Chia Seeds: The magic binder that creates that pudding texture.

  • 1 tbsp Agave or Maple Syrup: Since the protein powder is neutral-sweet, this is where you dial in the flavour. Add more if you have a sweet tooth, or less if you prefer it darker and richer.

The Toppings (The "Tiramisu" Layer):

  • Soy Yoghurt: Used to mimic the creamy, tart layer of mascarpone.

  • Cocoa Powder: For dusting.

  • Cocoa Nibs or Chocolate Chips: For a bit of crunch.

Method

1. Mix the base: In your chosen jar (remember: size matters!), combine the soy milk, WAM Protein Iced Coffee, chia seeds, and syrup. Whisk or shake vigorously until combined.

2. The crucial step: Do not put it straight in the fridge! Let the mixture sit on the counter for about 10 minutes, then give it one more stir. Why? Chia seeds love to sink and clump together at the bottom. This second stir ensures the seeds are suspended evenly, giving you a smooth, consistent pudding rather than a layer of milk on top of a block of seeds.

3. Set it and forget it: Place the jar in the fridge overnight (or for at least 4 hours).

4. The best part: In the morning, the mixture will be thick and creamy. Top it with a generous dollop of soy yoghurt, a dusting of cocoa powder, and cocoa nibs. Grab a spoon and enjoy.
