Why you’ll love these baked oats

If you love breakfast that’s easy, filling, and satisfying without being overly sweet, this one’s for you.

These pumpkin spice oats are:

  • 100 % plant-based and vegan-friendly

  • High in protein, thanks to WAM Iced Coffee Protein

  • Naturally balanced in flavour – not too sweet, not too bland

  • Perfect fresh from the oven or as a meal-prepped breakfast

  • A great way to bring autumn vibes to your daily routine

Enjoyment without labels

At WAM, we don’t believe in calling foods “good” or “bad”.
Protein powder isn’t a shortcut or a replacement - it’s simply a tool to make nourishing meals easier and tastier.

This recipe isn’t about eating “clean” or chasing perfection. It’s about enjoying something warm, comforting, and satisfying - a breakfast that fuels you for your workout, your workday, or just your morning walk.

Ingredients

  • 200 g pumpkin purée

  • 50 g oats

  • 30 g WAM Protein - Iced Coffee

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin spice

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup (adjust to taste)

  • A pinch of salt

Method

  1. Mix the base
In a bowl, combine pumpkin purée, oats, WAM Protein, flaxseeds, baking powder, cinnamon, maple syrup, and salt. Stir until everything is well combined.

  2. Bake
Transfer the mixture into a lined baking dish and bake at 180 °C for 15–20 minutes, until golden on top.

  3. Serve
Enjoy warm straight from the oven, or let it cool and store in the fridge for a quick breakfast throughout the week.

Topping ideas

There’s no single “right” way to serve baked oats - make it yours.
Here are a few ideas to get creative with your toppings:

  • A spoonful of (plant-based) kefir or yoghurt

  • Pumpkin seeds or crushed nuts for crunch

  • A drizzle of nut butter or maple syrup

  • A sprinkle of cinnamon or chocolate chips for sweetness

Nutrition that fits your life

These baked oats are proof that balance can be simple: whole-food carbs for energy, healthy fats for satiety, and plant protein for recovery and strength.

You don’t have to count, restrict, or perfect - just enjoy real food that supports what your body can do.
