Coffee & Peanut Protein Bites – Vegan & No-Bake

There’s something special about the mix of coffee, chocolate, and peanut butter – comforting, energising, and just the right amount of indulgent.
These coffee & peanut protein bites bring those flavours together in a simple no-bake recipe that’s perfect for when you want something satisfying without turning on the oven.

Made with our new WAM Iced Coffee Protein, they deliver a smooth coffee kick without the sugar rush (or caffeine jitters, since it’s decaf). Whether you’re looking for a pre-workout boost, a snack between calls, or a bite of something sweet that still packs protein – these will quickly become a favourite.

Why make your own protein bites?

Protein snacks don’t need to be complicated or labelled as good or bad. They’re simply a way to fuel your body and enjoy what you eat. Making your own gives you control over what goes in – no ultra-sweeteners, no long ingredient lists, just whole foods and flavour.

These bites are:

  • 100 % vegan and made with plant protein

  • High in protein thanks to WAM Iced Coffee

  • Quick to prepare – no baking, no blender

  • Naturally balanced in flavour (not too sweet!)

Ingredients (makes about 16 bites)

  • 120 g oat flour

  • 135 g peanut butter

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 50 g WAM Protein – Iced Coffee

  • 1–2 tsp instant coffee (depending on how strong you like it)

  • 135 ml soy or oat milk

  • Dark chocolate and salted peanuts for topping

Method

  1. Mix the base
Combine all ingredients except the chocolate and peanuts in a bowl. Stir until a soft dough forms.

  2. Shape or press
You can either roll the mixture into small balls, or press it into a lined tin for the “lazy version.” Smooth the top and refrigerate for about 1 hour until firm.

  3. Add toppings
Melt some dark chocolate, spread or drizzle it over the bites, and sprinkle with chopped salted peanuts for crunch.

  4. Enjoy
Once the chocolate has set, they’re ready to eat – creamy, fudgy, and full of coffee flavour.

Variations & tips

  • Lighter option: Replace half the peanut butter with unsweetened applesauce. It keeps the texture soft but lowers fat and calories slightly.

  • More coffee kick: Add an extra teaspoon of instant coffee or use espresso powder.

  • Extra indulgence: Mix chocolate chips into the dough before chilling.

They keep well in the fridge for up to four days and are perfect for meal prep or your next afternoon pick-me-up.
